635 SAN ELIJO ST. POINT LOMA - We'll be starting this project in about a week (6/29). Our client has a home looking over the bay. Their backyard HARDSCAPE has seen better days and they are going to do a total renovation of the backyard. To do this, all of the existing BRICK will be removed and replaced. There will be new concrete poured and a newer, more MODERN BRICK will be used. There will be BLUE STONE and some FLAGSTONE used on this project. They have chosen to have SILVERTHORN CONSTRUCTION INC. do the demolition and concrete and TIDWELL MASONRY to do all of the new masonry on this project. JEFFERY RULE INC. is the Landcape Architect for this project. All material used on this project will be purchased from RCP BLOCK AND BRICK.

635 SAN ELIJO ST. POINT LOMA - (6/30/10) SILVERTHORN CONSTRUCTION has started the demolition part of the project. They have removed the BRICK on the existing patio that we will be replacing. The new BRICK PATIO will extend to the other end of the home. The area where the dirt bank is will recieve new BRICK PLANTERS and stairs. The stairs will be made with BLUE STONE and the BRICK PLANTERS will have BLUE STONE wall caps. The area around the pool will also have BLUE STONE laid as the deck surface.

635 SAN ELIJO ST. POINT LOMA - (7/1) We have started on the tan FLAG STONE that is in the lower area of the property. This is supposed to match some of the existing FLAG STONE on the property. We are doing this while SILVERTHORN CONSTRUCTION is getting the upper area ready for the BRICK and BLUE STONE. Having the FLAG STONE completed in this area will allow the LANDSCAPER to move into this area to get some of the trees and plants in without everybody tripping over one another.

635 SAN ELIJO ST. POINT LOMA - (7/2) We almost have the bulk of the flat work of the FLAG STONE done. After we complete the stairs, we will fall back and fill in the little pieces and finish the mortar joints. We have chosen to use COLTON CEMENT for the motar. It has a nicer color than the other brands and will match the older mortar color in the existing FLAG STONE on the property.
