9742 DUNBAR LN. FLINN SPRINGS - This is a heat shield with a hearth for a wood burning heater. Our client chose a cobble stone called SAN JOANQUIN TAN from KRC ROCK and STONE and a LITE STONE CONCRETE hearth top.

This fireplace was designed and built by DAN TIMOTHY. One of the features that make this fireplace unique is that it has a back fed firebox. There are granite pocket doors on the back of the fireplace. This allows the client to keep the firewood outside in the covered patio. Another special feature is the metal pocket doors in front of the firebox. These get hot and radiate heat similar to a wood-burning stove. There is also a fan which forces warm air to the other rooms in the house.
