SAN DIEGO MASONRY CONTRACTORS | POINT LOMA | KEN TIDWELL MASONRY
This large Point Loma residential project had something of everything masonry. It consisted of bricks, brick pavers, block, stone, flag stone, rock, thin-cut stone veneer. There were Blue Stone tiles, wall caps, stair treads and even a barbeque counter top.
The Architect for this project was Jeffrey Rule Inc. The contractors that worked on this project were Mission Pools, Superior Irrigation and Landscaping Company, Silverthorn Construction Inc. and Tidwell Masonry.
Prior to this project, our client's backyard really needed some help. It had an old concrete pool deck that had lifted and had cracked. There were brick details in the pool deck that were very dated and were just hard to look at. The Pennsylvania Blue Stone was not only an excellent choice for the new pool deck, but a unique choice for San Diego. We go into greater detail about the Blue Stone in the following pages.
